VIDEOS: I’ve Got a Fever, and the Only Prescription Is…Christopher Walken SNL Sketches.
Christopher Walken is arguably the greatest Saturday Night Live host ever. Here are eight hilarious Walken SNL sketches that I found on the web. I defy you to name another actor who would be even half as funny in these sketches as Walken is. -MATT
8. Pranksters
In this clip, Walken appears as a guest on a hidden camera prank show. Unfortunately Chris Kattan’s really annoying character (hmm, that’s kind of redundant) is the first guest on the show, but he finishes his part before he has a chance to ruin the entire sketch. Walken then comes in and steals the show.

7. Colonel Angus
This clip answers the question “How long can you make a sketch that is based entirely on a double entendre?” The wordplay is really the star of this sketch, but it’s hilarious to watch Walken try to speak with a Southern accent.
6. Shipwrecked
Walken plays the role of the world’s ship captain. Well, maybe second-worst. That Captain Crunch probably couldn’t steer a boat to save his life. And his cereal seriously cuts up the roof of my mouth.

5. Centaur Interview
Walken interviews a centaur for a open position at a hospital. This sketch initially gave me a great idea for a website, but much to my dismay, www.centaurporn.com has already been registered. (Don’t bother clicking the link, there is nary a centaur in sight.)

4. Trivial Psychic
In this sketch, Walken parodies his role in the 1983 film The Dead Zone. Anthony Michael Hall, a former SNL cast member, is the current star of The Dead Zone TV series. Coincidence? Hmm, yeah, it probably is.

3. The Continental
Walken has appeared on SNL six times, and he has done this character in every single episode. “Would you care for a glass of shamPAHNya?”
2. More Cowbell
Classic Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell. As an extra bonus, this video also features Jimmy Fallon being unable to control his laughter. Haha, look at him laugh! That Jimmy Fallon is just adorable!

1. Census Taker
While not nearly as well known as the “More Cowbell” sketch, this is Christopher Walken’s funniest SNL sketch. That is a fact. There is no debating it.

Jim Carrey would have put Christopher Walken to shame. Best SNL host hands down.

also, the first comment leaver is wrong. jim carrey was a great host, especially when he was with soundgarden… there were a bunch of classic sketches from that episode, notably the lifeguard, the night at the roxbury, and the see you hell sketch. i’m not knockin carrey, it’s just that walken is in a league of his own. let me put it this way, seeing baldwin or martin is gold, but shit is lost over walken. word up

Does anybody think that Sacha Baron Cohen has borrowed alot of the Borat character from the Continental? What really amazed me was when the Continental said ‘wow, wee wow wow’. It seemed blatant to me!

The Funniest ever Walken sketch ever is “Connie Stinson Talks” Don’t bother looking for it cause you can’t find it anywhere. Anyone who has seen it knows what i’m talking about. It got cut from the repeats for some unknown reason. He’s a legend and thanks for the Blog

I have to completely agree that “Connie Stinson Talks” is by far the best Walken sketch ever.
One night, years and years ago, my sister and I saw it and couldn’t stop laughing. Last year, I was her Maid of Honour and all of our family and friends couldn’t guess why we were laughing so hard when I made my speech and inserted this little nugget, “Darlin’, tomorrow, I just want you to look in the mirror and say to yourself, “Fat stinkin’ hog, I like you!” Would you do that for me, honey?”
That Walken sketch has provided my sister and I with over a decade of laughter. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

The Pranksaters skit is by far the funniest. I have never laughed so hard than I did when he jumped out from behind that car with the tire iron and preceded the beat the guy to death lmao. A close #2 is the Cowbell skit, and the census skit is a close %3. All hilarious though. Gotta love Christopher Walken.

The Census was pretty funny and only now do I remember the Continental and I could not stop laughing at it. I don’t know if Christopher Walken is the best, but he’s in the Top 5 at least. Personally I like the Jeopardy game show hosted by Will Ferrel with the guy who does Sean Connery.
“I’ll take the rapist for 400 Trebek”
“Mr. Connery, that’s therapist”

You know what you need to find? The sketch where Sylvester Stallone plays the guy who works at the computer store that used to be an Orange Julius. Best SNL sketch of all time, I can’t find it anywhere.
“I’m sorry, sir, but that computer is, uh, for gays.”

Kevin Spacey as Walken auditioning for the part of Han Solo in the Star Wars auditions sketch is hands down the funniest thing anyone has ever done in the history of television.
“Fast enough for you…old man…that sucked…”

Wasn’t there a skit with Walken and a Walken impersonator (maybe Jay Mohr?) together? I’d like to see that again.

What, no Stalk Talk? That skit was funnier than any of the above. Guess it’s not on YouTube…yet.

THANK YOU! Though I’ve always loved cowbell, Census taker (in the same episode, toward the end) is the better skit. Good to see others agree. It is probably my favorite SNL skit of all time (and yes, I’ve seen Connie Stinson Talks).
