VIDEO: Transmorphers - An Even More Blatant Ripoff Than the Gobots
The Gobots were the original Transformers ripoff, but at least they chose an original sounding name. The Transmorphers people just strike me as lazy, opportunistic rip-off guys. However, now that I think of it, the Transmorphers are kind of like those porn stars that choose names that sound extremely similar to celebrities’ names. And since I just finished watching the latest Rebecca Romijn-Staymoist video, I guess I’ll get off my high horse now.

Yeah, I saw this a couple of days ago, and it’s really bad. The CGI isn’t completed as it looks like it’s a a first pass at it (as in one scene where there’s an explosion, and one of the robots is blown away by it, they don’t even try and make it look real).
It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t rush to get it out on the shelves before Transformers. Maybe it was my copy that I saw, but after 30 minutes, even the audio track was off, so the sounds were 2 seconds before the action.
It’s really, really bad.
