Since our December 2006 launch (3 months ago), Brohans Video Blog has had over 290,000 page views from over 230,000 unique visitors. The site is targeted to people who watch online videos and only want to see the most hilarious, amazing, or downright weird videos out there.

How much does it cost?
UPDATED: It’s $4 for a month. Renewals from original sponsors cost $2.
Why is it so cheap?
We’ve never sold ads before. We’re starting small. Consider this an experiment.
What kind of ad(s) do you offer?
We only have 1 type of ad for sale. It’s an above-the-fold thumbnail-sized picture. It will be located in the upper-right block. Site-wide. See picture below. Click the picture for a larger view.
What are the ad specs?
* 60×60 jpg/gif/png
* You can specify the “alt” and “title” text tag. The “alt” and “title” tag is the words you get when you hover over the picture.
* It links to anywhere you want.
* Must be a “safe for work” picture. No nudity.
* Animation allowed. No flash.
How do I keep track of click-through rates, # of impressions, etc?
We don’t do that. It costs four dollars. What do you expect? You CAN monitor the Technorati and Alexa performance. We can also send you the Sitemeter site stats at the end of the month.
Will an ad I buy renew automatically?
Nope. Our payment system, Google Checkout, doesn’t do subscriptions. Our Paypal system does and will renew monthly until cancelled.
Will you ever increase the ad price?
Maybe. Don’t worry about it for now. It’s four dollars per month.
Can I buy a few months at a time?
Nope. It’s a per-month basis. If you do buy a link for this month, you will get a few days before the public to take first dibs on the following month.
I’m a spammer. Can I buy a link?
No. Go away. We’re going to screen links and reject any ads from con artists and evil monkeys.
